CreatorDex ("we", "our", or "the app") is an iOS application for organizing and tracking content creators across social platforms. It is developed and operated by Kai Yang (an individual developer). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how it is used, and your rights.
The creator profiles, links, tags, and notes you add in CreatorDex are stored locally on your device by default. Data is transmitted off your device only when you enable iCloud Sync or use the server-assisted Link Parsing or Group Code Sharing features described below.
If you enable iCloud Sync in Settings, your CreatorDex data, including saved avatar images, is synchronized through Apple's CloudKit service in your private iCloud database. This data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. The developer does not operate a separate copy of this private database. Changes to the sync setting take effect after CreatorDex is restarted; turning sync off does not delete data already stored in iCloud.
Current status: CreatorDex does not transmit analytics or crash-report data from released versions of the app. During development, diagnostic events may be displayed only in a developer's local debug console. They are not sent to us, a service provider, or any third party.
If we enable a remote analytics or crash-reporting service in a future release, we will update this policy and our App Store privacy disclosures before it takes effect. Any such collection will be limited to product-interaction and diagnostic categories, such as app opens, screen views, feature outcomes, app version, operating-system version, and error categories. We will not include creator names, links, notes, search terms, creator or group identifiers, or advertising identifiers in those events.
We will not use analytics data for targeted advertising, sell it, or combine it with third-party data for cross-app tracking. The updated policy will identify the provider, retention period, collected data categories, and available privacy choices.
CreatorDex offers an optional one-time purchase, CreatorDex Pro Lifetime. Payments are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your name, email address, or payment details in connection with purchases.
When you add a creator link, the URL is sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection to our server-side parser (hosted on Cloudflare Workers) to fetch metadata such as username and avatar. The URL is not stored on our servers after parsing is complete, and our application does not intentionally write submitted profile URLs or source IP addresses to its logs or databases. Cloudflare processes ordinary network request information to deliver and protect the service under Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
To improve reliability and reduce repeated requests to public platforms, the service may cache publicly available creator profile metadata and avatar images. This public-profile cache is not associated with a CreatorDex account, device identifier, or Group Code.
Group Code Sharing is optional. When you choose to create a share code, CreatorDex sends the following data to our service hosted by Cloudflare: the group name; each included creator's display name, platform, public platform account ID or handle, public profile URL, avatar URL, and, when available, a small avatar image snapshot; and the code's creation time, expiration time, and status. Avatar snapshots are transmitted as Base64-encoded image data and stored as part of the share-code record.
We use this data only to create and redeem the share code and display the shared creator list to people with whom the code is shared. We do not use it for advertising, marketing, analytics, profiling, or cross-app tracking, and we do not sell it. CreatorDex has no user-account system and the share-code record is not stored with a CreatorDex account ID or device identifier. Anyone who has a valid code can retrieve its shared content, so share codes only with people you trust.
You choose whether a new code is valid for 1, 7, or 30 days. During that period, anyone with the code can retrieve the shared content. After the selected validity period ends, the content is no longer returned by the public code endpoint, but the record remains in Cloudflare Workers KV for a 30-day grace period so the service can distinguish an expired code from an unknown code; it is then automatically deleted. Codes created by older app versions with the legacy “no expiration” option do not have an automatic deletion date and remain until we delete them in response to a request.
Deleting a code from the app's local history removes only the on-device record; it does not delete the server record. To request deletion before automatic deletion, email 1298810136@qq.com with the share code. We will delete the corresponding server record and respond within 30 days.
All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Data stored locally on your device is protected by iOS device encryption. Cloudflare acts as our infrastructure service provider and processes service data under its own privacy and security commitments. While we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
CreatorDex does not require an account, and we do not ask for or store the app user's name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, advertising identifier, or device identifier. Public creator account identifiers and user-selected sharing content are collected only as described in Section 6. We do not sell your data to any third party.
Your local and iCloud data is under your control. You can delete individual creators, or uninstall the app to remove all local data. Turning iCloud Sync off stops future synchronization after CreatorDex is restarted, but does not delete the existing iCloud copy. You can manage or delete iCloud data in iOS Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud. Group-code server data follows the retention and deletion process in Section 6.
CreatorDex is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

创建新分享码时，您可选择 1 天、7 天或 30 天有效期。有效期内，持有码的人可获取共享内容。所选有效期结束后，公开查询接口不再返回共享内容，但记录仍会在 Cloudflare Workers KV 中保留 30 天宽限期，以便服务区分“已过期”和“不存在”的分享码；宽限期结束后记录会自动删除。旧版本应用创建的“永不过期”历史分享码没有自动删除日期，将一直保留至我们根据删除请求将其删除。
在应用内删除分享码历史只会移除设备上的本地记录，不会删除服务器记录。如需在自动删除前请求删除，请将分享码发送至 1298810136@qq.com。我们会删除对应的服务器记录，并在 30 天内回复。
应用与服务器之间传输的所有数据均通过 HTTPS/TLS 加密。存储在您设备本地的数据受 iOS 设备加密保护。Cloudflare 是我们的基础设施服务商，并按其自身的隐私与安全承诺处理服务数据。我们采取合理的技术和组织措施来保护您的信息，但任何传输或存储方式均无法保证 100% 安全，我们无法对此作出绝对保证。
